About the Post

The NTA UGC NET JRF December 2026 examination is an opportunity for postgraduate students who want to build a career in teaching, research or higher education. Candidates who qualify for JRF may receive a research fellowship to pursue doctoral studies at eligible universities and research institutions, while those qualifying for Assistant Professor eligibility can apply for teaching positions in colleges and universities according to the applicable recruitment rules. Candidates qualifying for Ph.D. admission can also pursue further research in their chosen subject. However, qualifying NET does not guarantee a job or Ph.D. admission.
